Signal maps that travel between teams
How to write a tech signal map so the next analyst can continue without restarting from rumor.
A signal map is useful only if someone else can pick it up. Start with the question the review answered, then list constraints you observed—not every screen you clicked.
Keep evidence links short and dated. Future you will thank present you when the UI shifts.
If you cannot name the decision the map supports, pause and clarify the ask before polishing diagrams.
